Cement, a basic construction material and symbol of modern civilisation, is used as a parallel between constructions and the human skeleton. Bones are stripped of their traditional identity of memento mori and are converted to a kind of fetish. They are transformed into dreamy landscape formations modelled like sculptures. As an echo from the past, they become objects with magical potency that bring to mind ritual jewelry and invocations. As for the wearer, he or she is transmuted into a potent magician able to travel between worlds and dimensions away from dull and often painful reality.
