The pearl have for long been used within the field of jewelry as a symbol of power and sexuality. These earrings play with the history of the pearl and uses it to comment on the obsession we have for our bodies. The baroque pearl has, because of its irregular shape, often been turned into different figures. This have been made with a great sense of humour and fantasy. In these earrings the deformed bodies flirt with the baroque pearl and its playful way to offer another dimension of what beauty can be.
