Since the beginning of Paula’s work in jewelry, literature has been a part of it. In the form of inspirational quotes and texts, in a playful way by digitizing phrases from magazines, and also using and cutting the leaves of beloved books when she could bring herself to do so. She believes that the words that surround us, spoken and written, form us as people, they leave their mark on our skin. That is why she is a passionate about working with the words of others. In some way, what was said is transformed and is said again in another materiality and voice.
