The pieces were inspired by Boris Vian's novel "Froth on the Daydream". It tells the story of a couple who fall in love, but soon during the honeymoon the bride falls ill and is diagnosed with a mysterious disease consisting of a water lily growing in her lungs, a painful and rare condition that can only be treated by surrounding her with flowers.
The pieces interpret the initial stage of love where everything is a whirlwind romance. And the development of the disease, where the strength to fight the announced tragedy at all costs prevails.
