Piece created for Challenge 2019 Jewelry and Anatomy
Size 45x25x15mm each
Thinking about anatomy the first things that often come to mind are bones, muscles and maybe organs like the heart and lungs. But the discipline of anatomy also includes the study of little intricate things. Structures that we can't see with our bare eyes. Like our blood cells. They are like fuel for the human body, delivering oxygen to every part of it and keeping us going.
And since the red blood cells just so happen to have an absolutely pleasing shape in the process, this work is dedicated to them.
