In the tradition of votive offerings (tamata) where a small object is made as an offering to a higher power to gain some favour, some help or some healing. I felt like a charm might be needed for today's particular predicament. A plague mask of previous times seems like it would accomplish both filtering of the air and encourage social distancing.
