The design of these pieces was inspired by the ancient roofs of the Italian city of Caltagirone, Sicily. The recording of its repeated curved shapes and the superposition of these was recorded in countless photos that were the starting point for this creative process. The patina evokes the texture of the passage of time on these rooftops, inviting viewers to travel and discover the beauty in the ancient and the eternal.
