Windows capture a moment, place, or object, framing them for a few seconds. They physically separate us, making us external participants but allowing us to observe with the utmost attention. In this project, Jimena’s inspiration comes from the natural windows of the Algarve coast, which evoke a unique sense of wonder, as if they were perfect photographs of places randomly captured by a window. This project aims to offer the opportunity to find beauty in an everyday and unnoticed moment or place, framed within a small window that points out something amidst the chaos. It is the exercise of carefully observing a moment randomly signaled by the window you carry.
