The shapes of these pieces arise from the lid of a hand-carved box that belonged to her grandmother, the material in which they are cut refers to the collages Gabriela created in her childhood, while she read to her.
These necklaces are a way to bring close to the body the stories someone grew up with, single words, and new ways for others to make their own literature.
