Piece created for Challenge 2019 Jewelry and Anatomy
Materials silver, colored copper wire, steel
The artist has a special connection with the theme proposed for the 2019 Tincal lab Challenge. Before falling in love with contemporary jewelry, her professional life was medicine and so it was for 25 years. However, despite the noble job, dealing with devastating illness and death on a daily basis is stressful. She sought a way to lighten the emotional burden with a lighter parallel activity: contemporary jewelry. What would only be an escape and relief, has become the passion of her life. The jewels made for the Challenge seek to give lightness to the human body.
