A sleigh hurtling through the snowy landscape, the charming wife of the miller, the giant's frozen nose. These jewelry pieces, with elements of Russian filigree, were inspired by Vladimir Sorokin's novel “The Blizzard”. Its linguistic beauty, the force of the narrative, but also delightfully biting humor captivated Susanne.
Sorokin depicts a wintry journey with a mysterious destination, full of fantastic characters and happenings. Given the emergence of old and new demons in modern times, scenarios like these seem hauntingly true-to-life.
