Micol Ferrara explores some aspects of freedom. In the “Feel At Home” pin, to feel safe and free starting from your own body to get to the city and country. The “Be Yourself” pin expresses the importance of mutual respect for each other’s diversity and uniqueness against any kind of discrimination. The “Our Voices” necklace is dedicated to those who have contributed to a freer world and in particular to Afghan women, who recently were denied the freedom to sing in public. On the necklace are stitched verses of the song “Bella Ciao”, a symbol of struggle for freedom and democracy.
