Lena lives by the sea and the fjord called Hakefjorden. She goes to it, on it and into it, since the fjord sets her mind free. She reflects on how the big oceans of the earth also carries people towards their future on the other side, maybe away from a life less free. So for Tincal lab Challenge 2024 Jewelry and Freedom Lena Birgitsdotter worked with an abstraction of the waves of water moving forward in one motion by the stiff gale in her jewellery objects.
