The “Fragile Beast’” series is the result of an immersion in the themes of individual freedom and the duality of human nature, expressed in the poles of instinct and reason. While the phrase that marks the skins of the work reflects the meeting of two wounded people and the fragility inherent in mankind's condition, the drawing that scratches the acrylic in a repeated and overlapping way reveals the non-exercise of self-sovereignty. The rupture of this state creates space for a new person who takes charge of her own life and consciously creates opportunities to be truly free.
