Young-ji Chi is said to feel comfortable in the softness sometimes.
The softness that envelops the sharpness have strength and generosity as deep as it enters. Softness can be felt by touching, but it also exerts its ability visually enough. Why? The theme, “freedom”, is expressed as a pendant with a large crochet shape. The organic form has been created intuitively, and the hollow exaggerated and soft lumps are flattened when pressed and then restored to their completed form. This “will to restore the shape” makes you feel the unique power of the original form. This could be compared to a resistance to freedom, or It can also be a flexible and humble force that forms when the same units combine.
