Reconstruction must be celebrated.
In May 2024, the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, faced one of the worst natural disasters ever recorded in the country. The floods left thousands of people homeless, injured, and grieving.
Cities were disconnected: bridges fell, roads gave way, passages disappeared under the water. What was once destroyed is now being reconstructed by many hands.
This work celebrates that everything created together becomes better - like these jewels: one is broken, and can be used just for one person alone.
The other, is complete, but only reveals its true form when shared by two people.
