By transforming root and skin into wearable pearlescent objects, the work shifts the humble bulb from everyday food and folk ritual into a contemporary medium for reflection and festivity. The brooches frame the natural forms, inviting viewers to consider the intersection of tradition, ornamentation, and the ways ordinary materials can embody cultural memory and human celebration.
