Yusi Wang explores how memory persists and transforms over time. Through metal, cyanotype fabric, and thread, she investigates the tension between permanence and fragility: the fabric, like skin warmed by touch, carries soft imprints, while metal embodies emotional weight and structure. In “Cheers!”, re-stitched fabric suggests the reshaping of memory. A tubular firework bursts into five cyanotype-printed hands. They encapsulate laughter and hope, reminding us that the most precious celebrations remain in our hands and hearts, endlessly recurring like the tide.
