Katja travelled a lot this summer. The back of these pieces contain Mica from the mountains of North Carolina, one of the places she visited. Mounted over it are images from her travels, one a view from the plane, another from a ferry in the North Sea with a windfarm in the background. They are printed on silk organza and stretched over a dome shape, a semi-globe, a 3 dimensional postcard of sorts.
