Paolo Gambarelli doesn’t believe in the celebration as the worship of ashes but as the preservation of a fire. Fire - like life - is the present and what is contemporary, ashes are not.
A celebration, even if dedicated to an event, a memory or a feeling of a past time, has meaning only if it belongs to and is expressed in a present time.
These jewels try to express this point of view through the only use of their expressive language: old jewels, passed from hand to hand over time, now seeking new hands to celebrate them in a new time.
