The Flores series draws inspiration from the symbolic and cultural significance of flowers. Universally recognised for their associations with celebration, emotion, and transformation, flowers often serve as poignant expressions of love, remembrance, or new beginnings.
In addition to their cultural relevance, flowers showcase intricate natural structures, including fractal patterns, which are central to Sikorska’s artistic and scientific exploration. This series is more decorative than her previous works, featuring openwork pieces dyed in warm shades of peach and purple. Sikorska’s latest collection further emphasises her dedication to blending contemporary technologies with traditional practices, such as silversmithing and hand-dyeing. The result is a body of work that is both conceptually rich and technically sophisticated.
