What's better than a Tea Party for a Celebration! Cake plate, teacup… Although, they are all vintage porcelain shards found mudlarking on New Zealand shore. Keeping their original shapes and stains, they’re polished and drilled if needed, but the intrusion in their bodies stays minimal. The teardrops add a joyfull adornment with a celebrative colour palette from soft drink cans, hand cut, drilled polished and hand sawn. Béatrice’s work is about reducing compulsive consumption by recycling/repurposing and rethinking the notion of preciousness. Circular sustainability. She is a contemporary Jewellery & Object artist with a fashion design background.
