Growing up my favorite activities were making things. Regardless the material, I've always like to create with my own hands. In such a way a certain smell brings strong memories, for me certain textures and materials brings specific memories and emotions.
This earrings series are made with one of the materials and activities that I’ve enjoyed as a kid growing up. I’ve experimented with the materials to create forms that are completely different forms. The way I work with it has changed but working with materials that brings nostalgia brought memories that I have forgotten and it became a special time for me as an adult.
