The eternal search for lightness in the face of the inherent weight of living. Through petals, feathers, and shells, lightness is evoked in Ana Calbucci's work, bringing forth a dreamlike universe where it seemingly resides. But just like the bird, it is in agility and in the ability to reveal the unpredictable, to rise above the weight of the world, and in gravity itself that we find its true existence.
