Lois Lo, a jewellery maker from the Royal College of Art, has developed a unique stone-setting method involving carving into gemstones to create space for wire. This innovation allows her to set stones at any angle, showcasing their facets. Her two pieces reflect her creative freedom in London, where she combines stainless steel with baguette cut gemstones. Each piece features stones set facing both the front and back, blending industrial strength with elegant design. Her work highlights her technical skill and artistic vision, celebrating the diverse possibilities of gemstone presentation.
